Is anyone else having issues getting the button on their post? I had to save the image and then load it like a photograph. Nothing was showing up when I copied and pasted.Small Talk Six, brought to you by Momstart, has a brand new topic for this week (duh, like every week). It is,
6 things you think would be great about being a rock star (or just famous in general)
1. I would have the money to hire a personal trainer to make me exercise, and a chef to cook for me!
2. I would be able to travel the world.
3. Because I'd be so awesome and famous, other celebrities (ahem, Johnny Depp) would want to hang out with me all the time.
4. I would have the money to hire a maid. For forever.
5. I could buy every book and cd my little heart desires!
6. My husband could retire!

1. If you have been or are married, tell us about your wedding. If you are not, tell us how would you want it to be. I was married almost 4 years ago (a little more than 2 months until the anniversary). Mark and I paid for just about all of the wedding ourselves, so it wasn't elaborate, but we loved it, and so did every one else. 97% of our friends smoke, so most of the night everyone was outside. Oh, I was also 3 months pregnant at the time (which had nothing to do with us getting married. Which means we were already engaged and the date already set when hubby knocked me up).
2. What age would you encourage your children to get married? I can't really tell them a good age, it is different for everyone. I would hope they could at least wait until they are 25. I think the older the better (I was 30), but like I already said, everyone is different.
3. Who got married at the last wedding that you attended? Um. I think it was February two years ago. Mark's cousin Angel married Ted.
4. Do you enjoy weddings and receptions? I do. Until people try to make me dance, then I don't like them. Why is it so hard for people to understand that I don't like to dance? I'm having just as much fun sitting and talking, really. Leave me alone!
5. Have you cried at a wedding? I was about 2 seconds away from losing it at my own wedding. Oh, and I totally almost lost control at my best friend's wedding. And I think I cried at my little brother's too. So I guess, yes.
6. Would you prefer a lavish event or a intimate ceremony? Intimate ceremony.
7. Have you ever been in some one’s wedding party? If yes, do tell. I was in my brother's wedding and my best friend's wedding. It was okay. I'm not a big fan of being in weddings really. I only did it because I loved the people who asked me.
8. Does a wedding make you happy and sentimental or grouchy and skeptical? It definitely makes me happy!
9. Why do you think our divorce rate is so high? I think some of the reason is people don't want to deal with the 'bad' in the marriage. Instead of working through the hard times they just give up and stop altogether. I want to know why they thought marriage was all rainbows and unicorns in the first place!

6 talk to me!:
Johhny Depp. Enough said. Yum!
Everyone loves a cartoon big week!
Great wordle!
Great Small Talk Six list! I'm with you on #1-the chef and trainer would be amazing!
You've got just about the exact reasons I would use. Except that I would also have the time (periodically, but that's ok) to pursue the hobbies I want to but don't have the time to now! Great questions :)
Yes, I would love to have everything in your six things! Personal trainer, personal chef, personal maid & lots of money! A-MEN!!
Fun, colorful wordle! =)
"Suppose friends go fireworks..." LOL Cool. Thanks for playing. :)
I love your STS, very similar to mine.
